A Fresh Beginning

Hello there! I am Sonali aka pr3ttypriceless. Don't ask me about the '3', Instagram is to blame. 

I am an Electrical Engineer turned Instructional Designer. Prior to my job and "this", my writing experience has largely been  limited to essays for school and the occasional free verse. I have been wanting to start a blog and keep it active, but stuff always gets in the way of it. Because of this lock-down, I have plenty of free time on my hands so why not give it a go, right?

As always, I was at a loss as to what to write about. Well you'd say, "Plenty of things under the sun, pick one...." If only it came that easily to me. So I raked my brains for a whole of two days when I saw the answer, literally, right in front of me- BOOKS! I am a book junkie and there are but few other things that would excite me as much as the prospect of getting a new book does. 

So for you guys (and for me), I am going to be talking about my favorite and not-so-favorite books. The first few that I have decided to re-read and write about are some of the best, heart touching and inspiring books there can be. I hope to tackle:

• The Diary of Anne Frank
• Mother by Maxim Gorky
• The Handmaid's Tale
• Gone With The Wind.

These are the books I have read at important times in my life and they have not failed me.

Not gonna lie, I suck at keeping promises to myself.... So to make sure I keep this blog alive and well, I am giving myself a deadline- a book every week.
